What we do:
Feminists for Nonviolent Choices is a nonpartisan, nonsectarian organization that seeks to return to the grassroots of prolife feminism. In the tradition of early American feminists, such as Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Feminists for Nonviolent Choices operates from the core ideals of justice, nondiscrimination and nonviolence.
We are an active voice for a consistent life ethic through our education, advocacy, and outreach efforts. We aim to promote a culture in which people can choose life from conception to natural death.
Feminists for Nonviolent Choices is a member of the Consistent Life Network, and a founding member of the Rochester Regional Coalition Against Human Trafficking.

Founded in 1989, Feminists for Nonviolent Choices was originally a state chapter of Feminists for Life of America and has operated in the past under "Feminists for Life of New York" and "Feminists Choosing Life." In 2014, we changed our name to "Feminists for Nonviolent Choices" in order to better reflect our mission of opening minds to the philosophy of prolife feminism.
